After flying from Copenhagen, (Denmark is the suzerain), to the main airport in Greenland at Nuuk, we hopped a small plane up to Ilullisat, up the west coast on Disko Bay, just inside the Arctic Circle. This is Ilullisat.

Like most outposts, Ilullisat puts on a working face, presenting things like the storage tank at left to the visitor arriving by sea. Here's the harbor at Ilullisat.

I don't know, but I'm guessing this may be the only place you can get Thai food in Ilullisat. Chances are it's one of the few places you can get Thai, Italian and Danish food anywhere.
